Tasting notes Magnoux 2017
A fine and rich bouquet with aromas of cherries, raspberry jam, hazelnuts, black olives and a hint of smoke. On the palate, it first appears with a certain seriousness, with nice freshness and straightforward tannins, before gaining power and fullness. An energetic, harmonious and intense wine that should be decanted at a young age or left to mature in the cellar for a few more years. Enjoy with grilled duck breast, roast veal with porcini mushrooms or a rabbit stew with black olives.

Tasting notes Magnoux 2016
Already a mythical vintage in Languedoc! The nose can hardly decide between forest fruits, exotic spices, baked goods and herbs: A rich and intense bouquet that demands a decanter and a little patience. The palate is dense and soft, carried by fine and long-lasting acidity, with young and elegant tannins. After two years of maturing in our cellar, it now perfectly matches to simple and spicy foods, such as a grilled T-bone steak, a leg of lamb or veal kidneys … After a few years of bottle storage, its finesse and aromatic complexity will demand for more refined and subtle recipes.

Tasting notes Magnoux 2015
2015 was a great vintage for wines with high ageing potential. In addition to its dark and bright red colour, the wine shows an intense and inviting bouquet of olives, sour cherries, liquorice and blueberries, concentrated and juicy taste, as well as an exceptional tannin structure. Still relatively young, it loves to breathe for a while after opening to fully develop its taste and fragrances. Roast beef, coq au vin, duck breast with honey and thyme … at the table, it loves strong but refined dishes. Ageing potential 7 to 8 years.

Tasting notes Magnoux 2014
A dark, deep colour, almost as mysterious as its bouquet: black, ripe fruits, olives and bay leaves, roasted herbs and dark chocolate. A generous wine whose concentrated and rich taste is dominated by Mourvèdre, providing pleasant freshness and powerful tannins. Archetype of a Mediterranean wine grown in higher altitude, it easily unites power and elegance. It loves to accompany tasty game dishes, duck breast with sour cherries or some well-selected cheese varieties. Enjoy now, or keep in the cellar for three or four years.
